Lycée Français International Jacques Prévert d’Accra (LFA), a French international school located in East Legon, Greater Accra Region of Ghana, is renowned for its commitment to providing quality education to students from maternelle (preschool) through lycée (senior high school). Affiliated with the Embassy of France in Accra, LFA was established in 1963 by The Association des Parents d’Elèves to cater to the educational needs of French embassy employees’ children. The school was initially situated on the property of the embassy’s cultural service and was later named after the esteemed 20th-century French poet and screenwriter, Jacques Prévert.
